The full moon rises in the sky, shining through the window and illuminating her quaint form, which slowly rises and falls with each breath. A light breeze blows through, gently rustling her plaid pink and black curtains, whipping past and teasing the kitten's pink whiskers.
Her nose twitches at the breeze. She rolls over, pulling her checkered black and pink blanket off the bed. The blanket's weight then pulls it off of the sleeping kitten, exposing her pale white fur, covered only by her long black nightshirt, to the cool wind.
Another breeze blows through, whipping past her fur and tickling her whiskers again. She shivers, stirring from her slumber.
Turning her ears back from the cold, she curls her fluffy white tail around her to keep warm. One paw begins to hop around the bed, searching for her blanket, but only finding her pillows and her tail.
She whines. "Where's that damn blanket...?" She whimpers at the cold, paw hopping fussily around her bed. Finally, she brings her other paw up to rub her eyes, opening them, which then cast a faint pink glow around her room. She sits up, stretches, and yawns, illuminating the dark corner under the window with a soft pink glow. She blinks, glancing down to the blanket, then up to the open window and the moon beyond it. "When did I open the window?"
Slowly, she turns to the side of the bed, reaching for her blanket on the floor.
A soft voice from outside whispers, "Isabelle...? Izzy! Pssst! Hey, are you awake?"
She blinks, holding completely still, save for her ears pivoting and rotating, listening for the voice.
